What do you love about Athens?
I am in awe of this city’s amazing people, their passion, their resilience, they way they embrace life. Athens is a vibrant city, I love the culture, the way its unique history is blended into what is now a modern city.

What’s the first thing you do when you arrive in Athens?
The first thing I do when i arrive in Athens is catch up with my best mate who is always waiting for me at the airport with a frappe in hand. That Greek welcome, the hospitality, the way your friends embrace you when you arrive, it’s something unique to our people.

How do you describe the city to friends that have never been?
You can’t describe the feeling or vibe of this beautiful country. There are no words I can use to do it justice, it’s something each person needs to experience first hand by going.

Athens is a vibrant city, I love the culture, the way its unique history is blended into what is now a modern city.

What is your favourite Metro stop in Athens and why?
My favourite stop in Athens will forever be Syntagma because that’s where the heart of the city beats, everything branches off from there.

How would you describe this mix and why did you name it Piraeus?
It is a cross genre mix with no particular style. I believe styles are restrictive. I try to push the the old and new cutting edge, positive dancefloor music with an emphasis on the groove and building energy through the tunes.
The reason I called it Piraeus is because it’s where i catch the ferry to go to the islands and do my thing musically speaking. Piraeus is both beautiful and gritty, it’s the busiest passenger port in Europe and the gateway to the islands, but also a vibrant city with great bars and places to hang out, and like my mix it combines old and new but has its own unique style.
